BLAINE, Minn. — Coming off a lengthy Thanksgiving break, the Wisconsin Woodsmen struggled
to get their offense shifted out of neutral Friday evening, failing to register a goal in falling to
the Minnesota Moose 3-0 in an NA3HL contest at the Fogerty Ice Arena.
The Woodsmen, who had not played since a 3-2 loss to the West Bend Power on Nov. 16, held
a commanding 46-39 edge in shots on goal, but could ot find a way to light the lamp behind
Moose goalie Dylan Posch.
After a scoreless first period, the Moose took control, getting second-period goals from Kaden
Milles and Bryce Laager to snag a 2-0 cushion heading into the game’s final 20 minutes.
Luke Steffen closed out the scoring, netting his fourth of the year with 6:27 to play in the third
period.
